Unlocking the Power of Open RAN and Private 5G: VVDN Showcases Innovation at MWC 2025

Founded in India in 2007, VVDN Technologies provides end-to-end engineering and manufacturing solutions to customers around the globe. I interviewed Girija Vedi, Head of Marketing at VVDN, during Mobile World Congress earlier this year and she shared how the company is focusing its efforts on Open RAN, Private 5G, and beyond.

In the interview, Girija discusses some of VVDN’s latest innovations, including a full range of O-RUs (from small cell to massive MIMO), a homegrown RAN Intelligent Controller platform with custom xApps and rApps, and a unique cloud proxy solution for CBRS compliance in the U.S. market. 

With an eye on AI, non-terrestrial networks, and accelerating global deployments, VVDN is part of a growing ecosystem looking to leverage Open RAN’s capabilities to gain a foothold in the lucrative telecom infrastructure market.
